Chapter 1
This Is Your School - The Bullies
Ricky talking with Johnny and Hal (This Is Your School)

At the beginning of the school year, when Gary Smith takes the protagonist Jimmy Hopkins to the cafeteria to introduce him to the facts, Ricky is seen talking with his classmates Hal and Johnny in front of the concession stand.

Chapter 2
Ricky, Tobias Mason, and Jimmy (Beach Brawl)

Later, Ricky visits the Shiny Bikes bike shop, hoping to buy some upgrades for his bike. While chatting with owner Tobias Mason, Jimmy Hopkins enters the shop to pick up a trophy. At that moment, two posh boys, Gord Vendome and Chad Morris, also entered. After exchanging insults with Ricky, the posh boys steal Jimmy's trophy and flee the shop. Ricky decides to help the protagonist defeat the posh boys to recover his stolen trophy.

Chapter III
Ricky Pucino in the mission This Is Not Your Neighborhood
Ricky finding Algie (This Is Not Your Neighborhood)

"Is that Algie? On a girl's bike?"

~ Ricky in This Is Not Your Neighborhood
Johnny Vincent's girlfriend, Lola Lombardi, becomes "involved" with Algie Papadopoulos. Ricky is first seen harassing Cornelius Johnson along with Johnny and other thugs to get Algie's location. Then, Ricky and the other thugs go in search of Algie under Johnny's orders. They manage to find Algie, who is accompanied by Jimmy and Chad. When the trio tries to escape, Ricky mocks Algie for using a girl's bike. Ricky and the others then chase the trio to finish them off, but are shot down by Jimmy.

Chapter IV
When Jimmy is sent shopping by Miss Philips, Ricky helps his friend Peanut Romano sabotage her plans, as Peanut is in love with the teacher. Ricky is seen throwing eggs at Jimmy every time he leaves a store.

Bike Racing
Ricky competes with Jimmy in bike racing. He often comments, "Remember: A wheel isn't a wheel without all its spokes." at the start of a race.

Personality
Ricky spends most of his time talking about his ex-girlfriend. He can't get over the breakup, as he mentions her in conversations, fights, and when talking to himself. He sometimes tries to convince himself that he doesn't need her anymore, but at the same time, he claims that he can't live happily without her. He believes he could have prevented the breakup if he had simply given her a bike so he could "take her out to see the sunset." He says he was more focused on fixing bikes than improving his relationship.

In general, Ricky has a negative opinion about life and himself. He also thinks girls are useless and unremarkable, and that they just "waste your time." At the same time, he's tired of being a loser around them and claims he doesn't want to be alone. He seems interested in Lola's cousin, thinking she's "cute," and in Mandy Wiles's cousin, who he says is "very easy." He likes pinup magazines and claims they "never let him down."

He hates Muscle Boys as much as he hates posh boys; probably because his ex-girlfriend dumped him for one. Like any badass, Ricky loves bikes. He often uses metaphors related to mechanics: when insulting an opponent in a fight, he tells them they're "a little rusty."

Appearance
Ricky is a badass of medium height. He has slicked-back brown hair with two strands of hair hanging over his forehead, and brown eyes. Like Hal, Ricky carries a cigarette behind his left ear. His uniform consists of a black leather jacket, tan school pants, and orange-brown shoes. In winter, he simply zips up his jacket.

Ricky and Peanut have a similar appearance, but Ricky has a few strands of hair on the right side of his forehead, while Peanut has a strand on the left side. They also have different accents and their leather jackets are different colors: Peanut's is brown and Ricky's is black.
