P.J. is a 1967 American neo-noir mystery film directed by John Guillermin. The story follows New York private investigator Peter Joseph "P.J." Detweiler, portrayed by George Peppard, who accepts a bodyguard assignment for Maureen Preble, the mistress of wealthy businessman William Orbison, played by Raymond Burr.
