Description:
In the 1966 comedy film "Boy, Did I Get a Wrong Number!", Bob Hope stars as Tom Meade, a middle-aged real estate agent who inadvertently contacts European film star Didi (Elke Sommer) during a phone mix-up. Seeking to escape Hollywood's typecasting, Didi agrees to hide at Tom's secluded cabin in Oregon. With the help of his housekeeper, Lily (Phyllis Diller), Tom devises increasingly absurd schemes to keep Didi's presence a secret from his wife, Martha (Marjorie Lord), and the public. The film is directed by George Marshall and features a supporting cast including Cesare Danova as Pepe Pepponi, Kelly Thordsen as Detective Shawn Regan, and Benny Baker as Detective Lt. Schwartz.
