Description: Set in the summer of 1900, 'The Go-Between' follows 13-year-old Leo Colston, who is invited to spend the season at the grand estate of his wealthy classmate, Marcus Maudsley, in rural Norfolk. During his stay, Leo becomes entangled in a secretive and forbidden love affair between Marian Maudsley, Marcus's beautiful older sister, and Ted Burgess, a neighboring farmer. Entrusted with delivering clandestine messages between the lovers, Leo's innocence is shattered as he becomes the unwitting messenger in a tale of passion and betrayal.
