Description: Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde is a 1941 American horror film directed by Victor Fleming, starring Spencer Tracy, Ingrid Bergman, and Lana Turner. The film is based on Robert Louis Stevenson's 1886 novella, "Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde," and serves as a remake of the 1931 Oscar-winning version. The story follows Dr. Henry Jekyll, a London physician who, in an attempt to separate the good and evil aspects of human nature, creates a serum that transforms him into the malevolent Mr. Hyde. This transformation leads to a series of tragic events, including the abuse of Ivy Peterson, portrayed by Ingrid Bergman, and the murder of Sir Charles Emery, played by Donald Crisp. The film was a commercial success and received three Academy Award nominations.
