In the 1952 British horror film "Ghost Ship," a newlywed couple, Guy and Margaret Thornton, purchase the steam yacht Cyclops, intending to renovate it as their home. Before finalizing the sale, the yacht's manager recounts its mysterious past: after World War II, Professor Mansel Martineau, an atomic scientist, bought the vessel and equipped it with advanced technology. Martineau, his wife, and their engineer, Peter, set sail for Deauville but vanished without a trace. A month later, the yacht was found abandoned, its equipment intact, and a lifebuoy missing. The couple begins to experience unsettling events aboard the ship, leading them to uncover a tragic tale of betrayal and murder that haunts the Cyclops.
