A liar! Annie ain't no orphan.
A pool? Inside?
Actually, he's a billionaire,
Again.
Aggie,
Aggie, we're gonna blow this town with all the dough we'll ever need. I got a plan.
Ah, the lovely Boylan Sisters.
Ah, the lovely Boylan Sisters.
All of ya! Scram!
All right, the show's over! Back to your rooms!
All right, then.
All right.
Also known as Danny the Dip.
Also known as Phyllis the Filcher.
Also known as Rooster Hannigan,
Also known as, You loused up big, Lily.
An orphan child. Perhaps a child like this one.
And a note saying they'd come back for me someday.
And all the Christmas decorations left in the city of New York.
And Annie picked out Christmas presents for all of you.
And any specific details will be most helpful.
And Daniel Francis Hannigan,
And I love you, Daddy Warbucks.
And I love you.
And I think I'm the luckiest kid.
And I thought, off with the old, on with the new.
And I'll see to it that each and every one of you...
And I'm gonna meet 'em someday.
And if you'd still like to be Annie Bennett Warbucks...
And kept the other half,
And let me come visit you, sir, and Miss Grace?
And Merry Christmas to all!
And so, Annie, as we come to the end of another program, we'd like to thank you.
And the very nice... and very attractive...
And there's a $50,000 reward.
And they haven't turned up anything suspicious, so...
And they'd come back for me,
And those other cons ain't got a sister...
And we ain't ever gonna have 'em. That's why we're called orphans.
And you look very pretty in it.
And you... If the Board of Orphans finds out about this,
And, um, Annie's birth certificate.
And, yes, he's going to tell her tonight.
Annie Mudge?
Annie,
Annie, Annie, tell these people how good I always been to ya, huh?
Annie, are you all right?
Annie, before we eat,
Annie, I also have some important news for you.
Annie, if Mr. Warbucks says he can find your parents, he will...
Annie, this is... everybody.
Annie! Are you ready?
Annie! Get your little orphan self out here!
Annie... Once we got the kid, what do we do with her?
Annie... Once we got the kid, what do we do with her?
At least I'm not a Mudge.
Aw, come on, why can't I go with youse guys?
Aw, gee, I don't know how to play.
Aw, gee, Mr. Warbucks, sir, that's okay.
Beginner's luck. How much she owe us?
Boo. Trying to make a break... again.
Brandeis!
Brat! I'll let you in on a little secret.
Bundles, you're full of applesauce.
But first... Did you know that I was an orphan?
But he's on his way.
But I thought you hated your job.
But I'll need your locket and that note...
But if you could find a place in your heart for me...
But l l I suppose you'd like to see some I.D.
But they're everything to me.
But things'll get better. They just gotta.
But we had no choice.
But what about our dinner?
But, Annie, l l I never realized...
By his name... Sandy.
Certified check.
Cheerio. Toodle oo. Ta ta. See you in church.
Coat? Why would a kid need a coat?
Come on, Pa.
Come on, Sandy.
Come on. Let's join the rest of the guests,
Come, Shirley.
Couldn't I watch just a few more minutes?
Did I hear happiness in here? I still see smiles.
Did Mr. Warbucks' plane arrive yet?
Did they let you out of prison this time, or did you excape?
Did they show up yet?
Did you hear the little lady? Ice cream and roasted corn...
Did you look under the tree to see if Santa left you anything?
Do you really think they're out there, Annie?
Do you wanna sleep with y! Our teeth inside your mouth or out?
Don't ask me about my trip. It was a nightmare.
Don't I, Ralphie?
Don't that hotel of yours ever shut its doors?
Don't you think I know that? Annie here tried to run away... again.
Drake, please.
Eleven years is more than a little while.
Even if he has to pull every string, right up to the President of the United States.
Everybody! Everybody,
Everyone, Annie has finally found her parents.
Excellent! He said yes!
Excuse me, I'm looking for my parents.
Excuse me. I was told I'd find a Miss Hannigan here.
Fess up!
Finally, we saved up enough money to come looking for our little girl.
Fine.
Fine. Sometime when I'm not busy.
For anything. Ta ta.
For Christmas dinner. I wonder what Democrats eat.
Gee, I don't know.
Gee, I would. Only sometimes Sandy forgets his name is Sandy.
Gee, I've never been to one of those before.
Gee, it's really big.
Get back here!
Get out and take the St. Regis here with you.
Get to work!
Get to work! Now!
Go away! [Screams]
Good. The information about Annie's locket.
Gosh! You sure you girls never played poker before?
Grace, will you join us?
Grace! When I talk about a new life for all of us...
Great idea. I'm a child, and I'm an orphan.
Great. Get to bed before I paddle ya.
Happy to be here to preside over this momentous occasion.
Have I ever hit any of ya?
He called from Teeterboro. His airplane's been delayed,
He comes sniffin' around, give a holler, and he's off to the pound.
He don't? Where does he live?
He'd never let me take the rap and spend three months on Rikers Island.
Hello, everybody.
Here, Sandy!
Here's the split. Half for me, half for you two.
Hey, anybody in here?
Hey, come back here! That's mine!
Hey, down there! You know the law... no loitering.
Hey, Flatfoot, bet you can't catch me!
Hey, give that back right now!
Hey, wait a minute.
Hey, Warbucks don't live on Fifth Avenue.
Hey, why am I worryin'?
Hey, you, short stuff! Hold up!
Hmm? Let me think.
Hot corn! Five cents!
How come us Hannigans ended up with the fuzzy end of the lollipop?
Huh! Since when did you care about those little tykes?
I also know Miss St. Regis here ain't got the brains for the job.
I bet you don't have what we left with you all those years ago.
I could lose my license. Bundles, come back here!
I couldn't be more delighted...
I do mean all of us.
I do, child.
I don't know if I could love anybody else.
I don't want you ever to do this again,
I guess one more night won't hurt.
I guess you have to look at the bright side.
I hate that kid so much I could be her mother.
I have an idea. Grace!
I hope this is the start of a wonderful new life for all of us.
I know. [Laughing]
I lost my parents when I was very young, and,
I love you as if you were my own little girl.
I love you very much, Annie.
I make her disappear.
I mean, what's life about...
I never liked you. Never. You're nothing but a rotten gold digger.
I really liked seeing your house. It sure is big.
I think I'd like to write to the kids about this. Okay?
I think I'd really like it if you'd be my father.
I think it'd be fun to be on the radio. This is Burt Healey saying...
I think you must have me confused with somebody else.
I thought you were going out.
I told you she wouldn't believe us.
I understand,
I understand.
I vowed to work very hard and become very rich.
I want my mommy and daddy.
I want to adopt you. Would you consider it?
I'd like Annie to spend Christmas morning with us.
I'd like that more than anything.
I'll be in my study. Mrs. Pugh, bring me a sandwich.
I'll be rollin' in it when Rooster and Hannigan get back from Warbucks'.
I'll be sittin' large and livin' pretty.
I'm afraid that isn't so, Annie.
I'm an orphan. I can be ready in five minutes.
I'm doin' you a favor by not lettin' you go.
I'm feeling pressure myself at this very moment.
I'm named after the hotel.
I'm not an orphan!
I'm personal secretary to Mr. Oliver Warbucks.
I've always been so good to ya, and this is what I get, huh?
I've never met anybody with a real job, except Mr. Bundles,
I've never seen New York before, so I'm just as happy to watch you work.
If it's your parents you want, then I'll find them for you.
If that suits you?
If they were alive.
If this has something to do with the laundry or the police,
If you don't have anyone to share it with?
If you'll come this way, we'll prepare the check.
If you'll just sign the paperwork and get Annie's coat.
Is there any particular reason why you're here?
It appears that everyone who claims they were your parents are fakes.
It appears to be in order. Born: New York, October 28, 1922.
It's just so hard to tell when they don't have no hair. Right, honey?
It's just that I love my real mother and father so much.
It's never looked better.
It's okay, Molly. You were just having another nightmare.
Just let me make sure I heard you right,
Justice Brandeis.
Kid, if any of you think it's bad in here, it's lousy out there.
L I noticed that old broken one you always wear,
L I'll take care of everything!
Lady at the orphanage said we'd find Annie here.
Lay offJuly! If Hannigan wakes up, she'll get sore.
Let's be good citizens and move along. Let's go. Come on, everybody, let's go.
Let's drop these at the pound and take our lunch break somewheres warm.
Let's go out and celebrate with Annie. We'll show her the town.
Liar! What's the one thing I always taught you?
Look, it was all a mistake. Somehow, Annie got in the laundry basket.
Look, you can have any orphan in the joint, only you can't have Annie.
Looks like you got everything you wanted.
Makin' sure I get my piece of the cake. I want my moolah.
May I present the Mudges.
Maybe they missed their train or got lost or something.
Maybe this will explain it better.
Me?
Merry Christmas.
Miss Hannigan, Annie ain't here.
Miss Hannigan, I do not peddle anything.
Miss Hannigan, I would, but the one thing you always taught me was:
Miss Hannigan, may we please have our breakfast now?
Miss Personal Secretary to the Oliver Warbucks.
Molly, wake up and shut up.
Mornin', kids!
Move! Let's go! Let's go. You too.
Mr. And Mrs. Mudge, there is one more thing.
Mr. And Mrs. Mudge, there is one more thing.
Mr. And Mrs. Mudge, yours is a touching story, but...
Mr. Bundles rolled her out with the dirty laundry.
Mr. President, I know you're feeling pressure.
Mr. Warbucks,
Mr. Warbucks, if I can't have my real parents,
Mr. Warbucks, the house is ready.
Mrs. Pugh said we could have a picnic right here.
My Annie is going to be adopted by your millionaire?
My assessment of the situation, Mr. President? Well, it's pretty darned bad out there.
My factories are shutting down right and left. It's bad, very bad.
My factories... everybody's factories... are shutting down.
My mom and dad left me with this one...
My parents are alive, and they're comin' to get me someday.
My parents left me with a note saying they'd come back for me.
N.Y.C.
Name?
Never tell a lie.
Never tell a lie.
Next time I see you, Sandy better have a leash and license.
No, Annie, Annie! You're Mr. Warbucks' guest.
No, but you've threatened. That's worse.
No, he brought me my parents. That's plenty.
No, not really.
No, sir.
No! I don't want a new one!
Not you. The you with four legs. Freeze!
Now get home before you catch pneumonia in this cold.
Now get the lousy laundry. Get the heck outta here.
Now get to sleep! I know these don't mean anything to you,
Now scatter.
Now tell me, what would you like to do first?
Now the lousy kid's gonna have everything.
Now, scrub these floors. Strip them beds for the laundry man.
Now, where were we?
Now!
Nuh uh. My lipstick is sealed.
Of all my little girls, Annie here is my favorite. Thanks for bringing her back.
Of course.
Oh, gee, thank you, sir.
Oh, go on. Eat up.
Oh, I get it. [Scoffs]
Oh, it doesn't bother me.
Oh, Miss Aggie, I live for laundry day here at your fine establishment.
Oh, Miss Aggie, won't you let me even take you out for an ice cream sodee?
Oh, Mr. Warbucks, that's wonderful ne...
Oh, no, I love my job. It's kids I hate.
Oh, no, sis,
Oh, real nice place you got here.
Oh, that's easy. I call him...
Oh, very well. So long, fair Aggie.
Oh, which floor?
Oh, yes, please.
Oh, yes, sir. You can count on me, sir.
Oh, yes, well, see, Mr. Warbucks,
Oh, yes, well, we've been talking with the president...
Oh, you poor little thing. I hope you didn't catch a cold out there.
Oh! How silly of us.
Oh! That's wonderful news!
Oh! You know, with all the thievin' that goes on in orphanages,
Oh.
Oh. Well, I'm sure my real parents'll show up.
Okay, kids, clean sheets once a month, whether you need them or not.
Okay, okay! Rooster and Hannigan are pretending...
Oliver Warbucks is offering $50,000...
Oliver.
On the other hand,
Or else I'll have you arrested for trespassing.
Or should I say, Miss Agatha Hannigan...
Ow! [Panting]
Ow! Bitin' me!
Pardon me, do you know anybody who kinda looks like me?
Perfect fit, so if you just get Annie's things, we'll be on our way.
Perhaps the Board of Orphans should know.
Perhaps we should discuss this privately.
Personal secretary to Oliver Warbucks.
Please take good care of our little darling. Her name is Annie.
President Roosevelt phoned. He's awaiting your call at the White House.
Really? Where is she?
Really. Now, we've ordered in special things just for you.
Right up until when your girlfriend there opened her trap.
Sandy, 'cause his fur's a nice, sandy color.
Sandy, huh? Well, why don't you call him?
Sandy!
Sandy! That's right.
She's a dream! A dream! [Sobbing]
She's all yours.
She's my little girl, and she's nothing but trouble.
She's wearin'it!
Showed up on our doorstep today.
Shut u u up!
Sir, before you start...
Sir, I think every liar, thief and crackpot...
Sir, the Mudges' certified check for $50,000.
Sir, this just arrived via special messenger from the F.B.I.
Sir, you always wanted a dog.
Sir, you're never not busy.
Sir, your club is for men only.
So as a little welcome home party,
So happy you could make it on such short notice.
So I'd kinda like to watch you work.
So I'm really a Mudge... Annie Mudge.
So many sob stories, but nobody mentioned giving Annie the locket.
So that when we come back for her, you will know...
So the F.B.I. Can trace them to your mother and dad.
So the President of the United States is coming to your house for Christmas?
So you're gonna scrub every inch of this dump... with this.
So, I really am an orphan.
So, sis, what did the secretary want?
So, sis, who was the hot tomato in the fancy car?
So, we had to leave ya for a little while.
Sometimes it seems like the only thing you've got is trouble.
Spend Christmas with me and my new... Annie?
Spill it, Rooster. What do you want?
Stop that truck!
Straight for where, Rooster?
Sure, every day I get down on my knees and pray, Why me?
Sure. Would you excuse me for one moment, please?
TelephoneJustice Brandeis and ask him to come over to sign the adoption papers.
Tell me Warbucks is going to adopt Annie, this rotten orphan I despise.
Tell them your wonderful news.
Ten bucks to tide me over?
Thank you for all you've done.
Thank you for noticing, sir.
Thank you, Drake.
Thank you, sir.
Thank you, sir.
Thanks. Hey! Meet my new gal.
That I spent the whole night chasing after her.
That is, if you done a good job.
That seems hard to believe.
That she's our baby!
That sounds delightful. [Stammering]
That you'll be spending Christmas here with me in my big house.
That's a very pretty dress you're wearing,
That's wonderful news.
Thattaboy. Good Sandy.
Thattaboy. Good Sandy.
The Board of Orphans sent me here...
The F.B.I. Says it's impossible to trace your parents through it.
The F.B.I. Were finally able to trace the handwriting on that note of yours...
The floors. I'll scrub them, and then I'll do the windows!
The house is all spiffed up. Looks like we're ready.
The kids'll never believe this.
Then come to my club for dinner and cigars.
Then stop whinin'.
Then you'll attend a Broadway show... with Grace.
Then, um, maybe you can help us.
There she is! Where is she?
There was thing mangy mutt with her that got away.
There's a rush order of dresses you gotta finish.
There's something I want to ask you.
They'll start nosin' around here and I could lose my job.
They're proof I got parents.
They're sending out a search call for Annie's parents.
Think they'll let me keep Sandy...
This is 1933. You're an orphan.
This is Burt Healey saying, smile, darn ya, smile.
This is our Christmas guest, Annie.
Till it shines like the top of the Chrysler Building!
To a David and Margaret Bennett.
To extend Mr. Warbucks' personal invitation to an orphan...
To spend the holidays in his home.
To the couple who can prove they are Annie's parents.
Uh, it was his idea. He made me do it.
Uh, listen, honey, if you're peddlin' beauty products, I don't need any.
Uh, Molly, we ain't got mommies and daddies.
Um, when shall I tell the judge to come?
Wait a minute!
Wait a minute!
Wait, I just want one more look at my sweet angel!
We ain't loiterin', Officer. We're holdin' a meetin'.
We are.
We could afford to bring Annie up right.
We got into town, and we went straight to where we left our little baby.
We have left half of a silver locket around her neck...
We left our little baby here.
We're going to find your parents.
We're her real parents! We're her real parents!
We're Ralph and Shirley Mudge, by the way.
We're Ralph and Shirley Mudge.
We've lived without her for 11 years.
Welcome home, Mr. Warbucks. How was your trip?
Well, ain't she the lucky one.
Well, from that day on,
Well, Grace, it's Christmas Eve. Let's have the adoption tonight and a big party as well.
Well, here's our driver's licenses...
Well, how come I seen him around and not you?
Well, I don't get out much.
Well, I'd be honored.
Well, if it isn't the Mudges.
Well, if there's anything I can do to repay you, Officer.
Well, it ain't Easy Street, but at least I'm wearin' silver.
Well, it is Annie's first night here, so...
Well, it's...
Well, let's hope for the best.
Well, let's hope for the best.
Well, Oliver, Annie, I'm ready to begin if you are.
Well, one thing led to another, and I had to call the cops. Please don't fire me!
Well, seein' as she means that much to you, ma'am, I guess I don't mind...
Well, she never lets us kids out.
Well, that's about it. Good bye.
Well, uh, what's your dog's name?
Well, we ain't got much,
Well, we better be on our way with our little Annie.
Well, we sure don't want no money.
What are we supposed to do with her?
What makes you so sure they'll be comin' back?
What?
What? Where am I gonna get that kind of loot?
What's goin' on? Spill the beans.
What's New York City like anyway?
Where would that put us?
Where's our little Christmas present?
Who do you think you are, the president?
Who knows all there is to know about the kid.
Will be adopted by a fine, upstanding family.
Wish I had a nickel. [Groans]
With $50,000,
With all the negative press you've been receiving, sir.
Wonderful. Let's get ready.
Would you?
Yeah, and Annie's got a note that proves it.
Yeah, but your purse ain't.
Yeah, for the Millionaires' Club.
Yeah, I'm sure the cops'll be very interested in your fake I.D.s.
Yeah, well, I suggest you move it to your Park Avenue address,
Yeah.
Yep, but those other cons ain't got an artiste workin' over in Brooklyn...
Yep.
Yes, but I'm still not sure.
Yes, of course, they will.
Yes, well, if you'll just sign here.
You can pick it up tomorrow with Annie.
You can trade me in for a boy.
You did the best you could, sir.
You didn't know that Mr. Warbucks was offering a $50,000 reward...
You drove me to this!
You know, I guess a kid can do okay without parents.
You look like you didn't get any sleep.
You mean I get to wear new things?
You mean the Bennetts are my real parents? Where are they?
You mean, after all your crooked schemes, all you got is lint in your pockets?
You mean, you're Annie's parents?
You see, a nice man in Canada offered us a job on a farm.
You see, about 11 years ago,
You take the mutt. I'll take the kid.
You wait here. I'm gonna go cook up your punishment.
You will let me keep him, won't you?
You wouldn't happen to have the other half of this?
You wouldn't happen to have the other half of this?
You! Where's the leash and license?
You'll be playing like a pro in no time.
You'll be wanting something for having taken care of her.
You'll eat after you're done at your sewing machines.
You're a bunch of saps. Who cares if Annie was on the radio?
You're all gonna clean this dump till it shines like the top of the Chrysler Building.
You're coming to New York for the holidays?
You're doin' like I'm doin'.
You're gonna do fine, sir. Just tell her how you feel...
You're telling me you live in New York City and haven't seen the place?
You're the only con I know who could con a cop.
You've been real nice to me,
You've really outdone yourself this time.
Your days are numbered. Get her out of there.
90,000 of Annie's type of locket were made and sold.
[Annie] Thank you, Mr. Healey. It's Annie on the radio!
[Barking] [Whimpering]
[Barking] I guess it's unanimous.
[Barking] Mind your manners.
[Chuckles] Of course you will, honey.
[Dog Barking] Don't you even think about...
[Door Slams] Okay, missy.
[Gasping] Geez, Aggie, it is.
[Gasping] Look, Ralphie! The locket.
[Girls Gasping] You'll never guess what happened.
[Groans] It ain't fair! I know, it ain't fair.
[Growling] Sandy! Shh! Be polite.
[Honking] #The coast # #The beat #
[Laughing] Aren't you forgetting something?
[Molly] Good morning, Miss Hannigan. What the heck?
[Muffled] Come on. Unhand me!
[Shouting] Stop it!
[Stomps On Foot] [All Laughing]
[Together] Mornin', Mr. Bundles! Morning, Miss Aggie!
[Together] Thank you, Mr. Bundles. [Blows Whistle]
[Together] We love you, Miss Hannigan! Run for it, Aggie!
# But that's # # Not now #
# Easy Street # # Easy Street #
# Easy Street # # Easy Street #
# Empty bellies # # Instead of full #
# I don't need anything # #Anything #
# I don't need anything # #Anything #
# Instead of kisses # #We get kicked #
# Instead of less # [All Laugh]
# Instead of treated # #We get tricked #
#The little brat # [Screams]
#We know you're gonna # # I know I'm gonna #
#Without a smile # [Whistling]
#Yeah, yeah, yeah # #Yeah, yeah, yeah #
Again? Pepper, watch out for Molly!
Ain't she cute, Ralphie? Oh, she's a regular doll.
And I don't smoke. I see.
And it's gonna be a doozy. Miss Hannigan, Miss Hannigan!
And our little check. So soon? Annie hasn't even opened her presents yet.
and speak from your heart. I'll try.
And that's just what he did. Yes.
And this is Annie. Oh, how nice to meet you.
And who might you be? I'm Grace Farrow. The City Board of Orphans said...
Aw, tell her. Give ya one guess.
Boo! [All Laughing]
But what if Miss Hannigan catches you? She won't.
But... Now about the 50 grand...
Call him? Yeah,
Come on, precious. So sweet. Come, Annie.
Come on,July, beat her up. Get her, Pepper!
Come on. Come on. Come on. Let's go.
D Do you follow me? Sure.
Darn. Lost again. [Girls Laughing]
Deal. Hey! Wait a gosh darned minute.
Did too! Did not!
Do I look like the exterminator? There it is! Up there!
Duffy, you cheated! Did not!
Everything all right? Well, you know.
Excuse me. If you're gonna rob the place, start by taking the orphans.
for the couple who can prove they're Annie's parents? He is?
Gee, it smells great. Tastes better.
Glad to see me? Don't it show?
Glad you're back? Yes, Miss Hannigan.
Good morning, children. [Together] Good morning, Miss Hannigan.
Good night! [Yelling] That's my favorite.
Grace! Yes, sir.
Here you go, sir. Oh, good.
Here's to Annie Mudge. [All] To Annie Mudge.
Hey, sis. [Sighs]
How 'bout Florida? Yeah, good idea.
I bet it's foolproof. One hundred percent.
I can finally turn him in. Oh, you don't have to turn him in, Officer.
I cut a deal with the warden. Rooster,
I do. Me too.
I don't know whatever I'd do without ya. Scrub the floors yourself?
I get to go away for Christmas. [Girls Cheering]
I love you, Miss Hannigan. I love you, Miss Hannigan.
I love you, Miss Hannigan. I love you, Miss Hannigan.
I love you, Miss Hannigan. I love you, Miss Hannigan.
I said, hey you! Yes, sir?
I still can't believe we found our baby. Me neither.
I'm ready, Judge. Me too.
Invite him for Christmas! Why don't you and Mrs. Roosevelt...
Leave Molly alone. You wanna make something out of it?
Lily... Lily... St. Regis.
Look who's talkin'. I'm doin'just fine, thank you.
May I take your coat, miss? Will I get it back?
Merry Christmas, Annie. Merry Christmas, Annie.
Merry Christmas. Good.
Miss Hannigan... She runs the orphanage.
No babies allowed. No.
No, it's there! I tell ya, it's there!
No, no, no, no. Just... We want our little girl.
No. How come?
No. You may have it later. [Girls Groaning]
Now let's go get that raggedy Annie. Catch you later, baby doll.
Now what? If my folks haven't found me, I'm gonna find them.
Oh, yes, right. Annie is the orphan you invited for Christmas.
One last detail, Rooster. Shoot!
One last detail, Rooster. Shoot!
Otherwise he goes to the pound for an eternal sleep. Yes, sir.
Please? Brother, here we go again.
Right, Sandy? Just call your dog.
Rise and shine! Rise and shine! [Girls Moaning]
Rooster, you sure know how to pick 'em. Don't he though?
Rooster! You got to admit it, sis, we fooled you, huh?
Rotten orphan. I'm not an orphan!
Run for it, Sandy! [Barking]
Sandy! Whoa! Annie, Annie.
See, he's my dog. Really?
Shall we begin? Sir?
She was born... Was born on October 28.
Sorry, we ain't got time. Very well.
St. Regis. Miss Lily St. Regis.
Tell Mrs. Pugh to order in flowers, champagne, caviar. And ice cream and roasted corn.
That's more like it. Miss Hannigan, Annie was on the radio.
That's my birthday. Those are the dates in Annie's note.
That's right. [Knocking]
That's the last of'em. Good, good. All right.
That's where Annie is. Oops.
The millionaire? No, the billionaire, ya dumb hotel.
The Oliver Warbucks? Yes.
There she is. [Crying]
Tomorrow? Tomorrow?
Too much work, Grace. That's okay, sir.
U Until he met you... Exactly.
Uh huh. [Stammering] In what form might this money be?
Uh uh. #You stack the aces # Mm hmm.
We know she's here somewhere. Mr. And Mrs. Mudge.
We were looking for whoever runs this place. You're lookin' at her.
We'll buy you one at Bergdorf's on the way uptown. Really?
Well, actually, there is. Uh huh.
Well, nice meeting you all. We'd better get.
Well, we was kids and poor, sick... And dumb to leave you.
What about it? You didn't give us any.
What are you doin' in there? Nothin'.
What did you say your name was? Annie, sir.
What do you say? [Together] We love you, Miss Hannigan.
What do you say? I love you, Miss Hannigan.
What the heck are you doing? Aren't you gonna beat the tar out of me?
What's the problem, sir? This mutt keeps giving the dog catcher the slip.
Who are you? I'm Annie.
Who are you? We're your mommy and daddy.
Who cares? Shh! And remember all out there:
Who's this? An old pal. Can we keep him?
Will you be needing the car? No, I think she's been cooped up long enough.
Wish I had a nickel. Wish I had a nickel for every time someone said,
Yea! Annie made it! # But the kid she's out there, free #
Yeah, you're right. Lily's out. And I'm in. Sorry, sister.
Yeah. Bergdorf's? Well, ain't we fancy?
Yes, Mr. Warbucks. Is everything all right? Couldn't be better.
Yes, sir. And Grace, extend our invitation to everyone in the house.
Yes, siree. Yes, siree. Yes, siree.
Yes. I don't believe it.
You know what, Annie? What?
You messed with the wrong dame! What are you doin' here?
You wanna be cut out of the deal completely? Heck, no!
You wanna be cut out of the deal completely? Heck, no!
You're a girl. Orphans are boys. You didn't specify boy, sir.
You're here to have fun. Really?
'Cause I knew you was gonna be bad tonight, so I punished ya ahead of time.
'Cause I'm savin' myself for Oliver Warbucks.
'Cause it's really nice when you're both together.
